Texas Bay Area SHRM has a special event planned for Thursday, August 13th. We're welcoming back dynamic speaker Megan Billnoske for an interactive 1-hour lunch session, followed by an extended afternoon workshop you won't want to miss!

Extended Workshop Session

"Leading Your Team & Organization - The Courage to Step Through Fear and Lead Where You Are™"

Building on the luncheon’s foundation of courageous leadership, this hands-on workshop dives into the practical tools that help HR professionals turn courage into action. Using The Five Behaviors™, the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), and Everything DiSC®, participants will explore how to navigate conflict, strengthen team dynamics, and lead more effectively in moments that matter.

Through small group activities, scenario-based practice, and facilitated discussion, attendees will learn how to apply these frameworks to real workplace challenges — from influencing senior leaders to guiding teams through change. This workshop is designed to be experiential, energizing, and immediately applicable.

Learning Objectives:

A practical understanding of TKI, Five Behaviors, and Everything DiSC® — and how to use each tool to improve communication, collaboration, and conflict outcomes.

A personalized action plan for leading with courage during high‑stakes conversations, organizational change, or team challenges.

Hands‑on practice applying the tools to real HR scenarios so you leave ready to coach others, influence leaders, and strengthen team effectiveness.
